This garage door opener also features a soft-start and soft-stop function to reduce wear and tear on the motor and mechanical parts. Backup battery [sold separately] with a built-in LED light helps to keep garage door opener functional in the event of a power outage. You’ll also use your in-car garage door remote to regulate this garage door opener. For added security, the AT-1611 includes rolling code technology that generates a unique code for each remote activation. This encrypted code is different from the previous one which prevents your neighbor accidently opening your garage door when the usage of their Skyline remote.
