The AC wire-in Kidde KN-COP-IC carbon monoxide alarm offers multiple contractor-friendly features to make sure easy installation and minimal troubleshooting. It may be installed on any standard single gang electrical box (up to a 4-inch octagon junction box), and it features a snap-on electrical harness for quick installation and an adjustable mounting bracket for perfect alignment. The unit also includes a smart interconnect system with up to 24 Kidde devices, including smoke alarms. When interconnected, it can sound its carbon monoxide alarm pattern as well as sound a different alarm pattern when a Kidde smoke alarm is in alarm mode.

It features three color LEDs for at-a-glance status updates. A green LED lights constantly when AC power is present, and it flashes every 7 seconds when in battery mode. An amber LED illuminates all over a CO incident, whilst a red LED flashes in unison with the audible alert for both a smoke or CO incident.
