⚠⚠⚠ WARNING ❗❗❗ This is NOT an automatic dead-bolt lock ! After pressing a valid code, you have ONLY 3-sec (indicated by a 3-sec long beep) to TURN the keypad knob to unlock! If you don’t turn the keypad knob within this 3-sec, the lock will be back to the “lock position.” It is a security feature “auto-lock” designed to prevent “forgetting to lock.”

It is a spring latch lock. The latch does NOT have motor and does NOT move itself. Subsequently, it lasts longer than dead-bolt. Again, it is very important TURN the keypad knob to unlock.

Everything included: you just need a screwdriver, no professionals needed (saving on contractor costs)! Do not fret about losing, forgetting, or making extra keys time and time again. Pet lover: This lock will help you give your neighbour or pet sitter an User Code of their own Whilst you are away. When you return, simply delete the code from the lock. When your renter moves out, simply delete or change the code.

Please Note: Whilst this door knob is designed for operational temperature from 6-degree F to 102-degree F in outdoor and indoor applications, it is strongly recommended to be under a porch or some kind of overhead cover, and it will have to NOT DIRECTLY to be exposed to heavy rains or accumulated snow or melting ice.
