Even though virtually all dimmers will work with this dimmable LED driver, Arm cost Lighting recommends Lutron CFL and Leviton illumatech universal dimmers on account of their low end dimming range adjustment. Delivers smooth, stable, flicker-free dimming with soft start and desirable fade-on and fade-to-dark performance. When a dimmer is set to full brightness, LED driver deliver full brightness – there’s no loss of high-end light output. Direct wire driver has full safety shut off protection in case of lighting overload, open circuit, short circuit, over-temperature, or other fault, automatic restart after the fault has been corrected it is a listed class 2 power unit for safety and has class II AC inputs, fully isolated case, no ground wire is required. Indoor/outdoor, etc listed for use in dry and damp locations. To work properly, your LED lighting should operate on 12-volt dc power and have the ability to be dimmed. This driver works well with all 12V dc LED tape lighting. For other types of LED lighting contact the manufacturer to confirm you lighting is dimmable and it operates on 12-volt dc power. Disconnect AC cord plug when the use of an AC dimmer.
