If you wish to turn on the fans when A/C activates, you would need an additional relay kit and follow the steps below:

Connect the RED wire from the A/C relay to the grey wire (sending unit) of the original fan relay harness
Connect the GREY and COFFEE wires from the A/C relay to the ground
Connect the BLACK wire from the A/C relay to the +12 volt of the A/C compressor grasp wire

The thermostat MUST be grounded through the threads to the engine to ensure that it to work, and the engine MUST be grounded.

Please note: If you must mount high-profile cooling fans, you’ll want to crimp or solder bigger wires to it. The 14AWG wires (15 amps) don’t seem to be bigger enough for high amps draw.
For reference: 12 Gauge – 20 Amps; 10 Gauge – 30 Amps; 8 Gauge – 40 Amps

RED to 12VDC positive battery terminal, COFFEE to Fan Positive, BLACK to Ignition, GREY to Sending Unit per wiring diagram. Direct replacement part fits 10, 12, 14, and 16 inch cooling fans.
